Never Tell Me The Odds is The West View’s 5th release, and the first featuring a full band recording. Recorded, produced and mastered at Northacre Studios in Cambridgeshire, the release is sonically inspired by nineties anthems like The Life of Riley by the Lightning Seeds and Dreams by The Cranberries. It is lyrically dedicated to the life of friend and bassist Aaron Swain who passed in 2021. True to vocalist and songwriter Jake’s crossover experience with electronic music, the release will be accompanied with remixes from Berlin’s E.no and Melbourne’s Montage Collective, and two new B-sides - original track In The Maytime and a cover of Robyn’s With Every Heartbeat.
